For 2010:
September 3rd-6th (Labor Day) - Charity Auction. Join the Traverse Bay Camping Club, who host an evening auction that benefits a local charity. The 2006 recipient of the auction proceeds was Camp Quality, a camp for kids who have cancer, which is located in Petoskey. The 2007 recipients were Pathway of Hope, a home for teen girls located right here in Evart; and the 2008 recipients were LOVE INC, a group out of Cadillac, who coordinate the meeting of people in need with local churches who've set up a particular ministry. In 2009 over $500 was raised and given to a local organization called "Warmed by God's Love" - a ministry that provides quilts and blankets to needy and/or neglected children.
